[CommAdvocacy] C.A.U. Meeting this Wednesday

The Community Advocacy Union will be meeting this Wednesday (tomorrow)
in the BRADFORD ROOM (Second Floor of the Library), 12-1:30pm. Though
membership to C.A.U. is limited to 2 student representatives from each
Community Advocacy area, meetings are opne to the Hampshire community to
attend - and Community Advocacy staff members and student leaders are
always welcome.
This week, Ray LaBarre from Campus Police will be in attendance - as
part of both the CAU's and Campus Police's commitment to improve
relations with departments across campus
Dawn Ellinwood, Dean of Students, will be in attendance at the meeting
on April 25th
Light Lunch will be provided

Community Advocacy is the name of the department in Student Life, which includes Multicultural and International Student Services (and the Lebron-Wiggins-Pran Cultural Center); Queer Student Services (and the Queer Community Alliance Center); Women Student Services (and the Center for Feminisms); Spiritual Life (and the Spiritual Life Center); The Wellness Center (formerly the Community Health Collaborative) and Sexual Offense Services; and Transfer and Non-Traditional Student Services (Transfer Life).
Community Advocacy at Hampshire College promotes the wellbeing of the entire campus community, fosters connections across social identities and ideas, and engages in passionate and compassionate dialogue and programs. We support and provide resources for the holistic development of students with the goals of nourishing student initiatives; increasing awareness and appreciation of different cultures, backgrounds, and perspectives; encouraging understanding and mutual respect as we actively work towards social change.
