My Div II chair is giving a lecture at 5:30 and I should be there. I will be at COCA an hour late, at 7. I will prepare an agenda and leave it in the office for you all to start working on at 6. Alex Vara will chair tomorrow's meeting in my absence. A volunteer is needed to take notes. I would have proposed to push back the meeting an hour, but there is another meeting I have to be at by 8, so it wouldn't have made a difference. ~Jay -- Jay Cassano Co-Chair, Committee On Community Activities Student Representative, Trustee Subcommittee on Investment Responsibility Academic Concentration in Political Philosophy and the Philosophy of History Hampshire College P.O. I've attached the list of bands that have emailed me. I'm not sure if we have all the demos/myspace pages but I'll figure that out before we meet... Yes, I think we should meet sometime this week (Sorry for the late notice). COCA meetings are crazy so I propose meeting outside of our regular COCA time. I know everyone's schedule are jammed packed but it will be fun and I bet we could get food and make a COCA party out of it. If you're interested, I was thinking tomorrow night around 7:30, Thursday after COCA, or Friday around 4:30. Hope one of these times works for a few folks. We only need a few people. I'd prefer to not be alone. Thanks for your time and I hope to hear back. Sincerely, Alex -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... The only un-finalized item is whether or not PubSafety actually eneded up putting an officer on parking (we haven't received a receipt from them if there was someone). The total for the Conference came to $5,197. COCA agreed to fund up to $5,624. We're asking for a transfer of $4,767 to the Circus Folk Unite! account, number 742. Send any questions my way... IMPORTANT (read now) Message-ID: <2372ef090804252220s4be78abauf139b42198727a65@mail.gmail.com> Key to a successful Spring Jam: COCA working together well to make sure everything goes off without a hitch. So.... Everyone's jobs tomorrow: Shane: 1030am - pick up extensions cords from physplant 11am - organize KEC setting up Alex V: 1030am - get misc. supplies from office with me Everyone else be there at 11 to take directions and do random tasks. Alex R.: get bowls and cups from Sodexho before noon Wes: go to Hess to get ice with me at 11 (need your car) Alex R., Wes, Joanna, Ben: at least one of you needs to be on call at all times throughout the day to do tasks. (Primarily stage crew, but some other random things of course.) Work it out amongst yourselves who will be available at what times. Let me know. Noon: Mixed Nuts will start setting up. People from COCA not doing anything at this point should help them. 7pm: Someone will need to go to Amherst with me to pick up food from Fresh Side for headliners (ideally Wes since he has a car) Nighttime: Alex Vara and I will be in charge of the "artists space/VIP area". If you can be around to help crew the stage, that would be awesome. Midnight: Do not slack off. Come back to help clean up. Don't leave that to me, Shane, and Alex. It goes so much faster if a bunch of people are doing it. Besides, you should be around to be watching Dead Prez anyway. See you at 11 tomorrow at the latest, ~Jay -- Jay Cassano Co-Chair, Committee On Community Activities Student Representative, Trustee Subcommittee on Investment Responsibility Academic Concentration in Political Philosophy and the Philosophy of History Hampshire College '10 P.O.
