everyone,

Hope that the semester is ending up in good form for all
of you. I'm writing because I am about to finish writing a
paper for a conference, due on December 20th (Friday of
next week), and I could use as many CPU cycles as I can
get. Right now the processes that tend to run are taking
30-45 minutes, as opposed to the 15-20 minutes that they
often take. I'm not sure if others are working on a
deadline too, but would it be possible for others to wait
until after the 20th to start new jobs? It would make a
difference. Of course, I do realize that everyone might
have deadlines right now, in which case we should all
carry on as we are.

Let me know what you think.

Many thanks,
