I was able to do it with UPSes we already had, recycled from around campus with mostly fresh batteries (one UPS has batteries on order, but the ones in there have been tested and are good enough for the moment). Compute-1-6 is the only node without UPS underneath it at this point. Completely loading all of the nodes, say with dnetc, may overload some UPSes, but I won't do that :) we rarely fully load all of the nodes under any other circumstances. Interestingly, I now also know that the cluster draws about 10Kwatts under full load. There are still a couple nodes down due to bad hard drives. I hope to correct that situation tomorrow.<br>
