[Clusterusers] upgrade starting today

Hello all,
    I'll be upgrading the compute-1-x nodes (except 1-4, 1-6, 1-7, and 
1-9, which have already been upgraded) starting today, assuming that 
doesn't screw with anybody's plans. I'll start from the top down, and it 
doesn't look like anybody is using 1-1, 1-2, or 1-3 right now anyway.... 
any objections?
