[Climbing] Tomorrow's meeting and other things

Hey all you climbers!

We bet that in light of today's apocalyptic snowstorm you've spent all day
stressed out about the status of tomorrow's meeting. Or maybe you just went
skiing instead. Either way, it's unclear whether the meeting will happen
tomorrow, but there are some semi-urgent things that need to be talked
about. The 5-College Outdoor Festival is only four short weeks away, and, as
we're sure most of you have noticed, the cave needs a lot of new routes
before it's competition ready (this is where you come in), and before we can
set new routes, there are a lot of other, maybe less fun things that have to
be done (this is where you come in...before the other part where you come
in). The things are..

-Stripping holds (We'll need as many people as possible to work on this, and
it doesn't have to all be done at once. All the holds need to come off the
wall and off the cave. If you don't know how take holds off, it's not hard!
Just ask someone, anyone who participated in this process last year or who
just looks like they know what they're doing, they'll be happy to teach you)

-Washing holds/Taking holds to be washed (We don't need as many people for
this, but a few volunteers would be nice. This involves either helping take
trashcans full of holds to the Dining Hall, being in the Dining Hall washing
the holds, or both)

-Painting the Cave (Again, we'll only need a few people for this. Once all
the holds are off, we are going to paint the cave to get rid of all those
scuff marks from all your hard work this year!)

This is going to be a lot of work, but there is some good news too! The CC
has gotten a copy of the Reel Rock Film Tour, and will be holding a
watching/pizza party in a couple weeks for everyone who helped out with any
of these projects. Reply to this email, come to a meeting (hopefully
tomorrow's, if campus isn't closed), or talk to May, Sarah, or Sam if you
want to help or you have any questions. We'll let you know whether we're
meeting tomorrow as soon as we find out more.

Thanks so much in advance for all your help in making this the best Outdoors
Festival yet! Stay warm out there!

Love,
Sarah and May
