'Lo Climbers of Hampshires,
You probably already know about this, but here's the general email we're
sending many other clubs at your college:

My name is Julie, and I am writing to you from Central Rock Gym.  We're a
fairly new facility, and we offer more rock-climbing than anywhere nearby,
as well as weekly yoga classes.  We know that rock-climbing is an activity
that can inspire and broaden group bonds, so we thought we would send you a
message with our information.  Feel free to peruse our website at
http://centralrockgym.com/hadley.  The sport will challenge students both
as individuals and as members of a group—while climbing is all about
learning to balance and move your own body on the wall, having a supportive
atmosphere makes the experience more enjoyable, and easier as well.

We're open seven days a week, most evenings until 11pm.  Thursday night is
College Night, so we offer a discount to students as well as free pizza at
8pm.  Plus, we stay open until midnight.  Monday night is ladies night (and
a yoga evening), so if you identify in that category you'll also get a
discount, and Tuesday night is guys night.

We offer two kinds of climbing that are friendly to beginners: bouldering
and top-roping.  For the first, you'll only be climbing up to fifteen feet
off the ground, so after you put on some climbing shoes you'll be ready to
go.  If you're top-roping, which is how most people start, you'll be using
ropes to climb in pairs, and ascending up to forty-five feet in the air.
To do this, you'll need to learn about belaying.  We offer belay courses
every single day (weekdays at 5pm and 7pm; weekends at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, and
an extra 5pm class on Saturdays) so you're welcome to stop in the gym at
one of the designated times.  If you want, you're welcome to just stop in
for a look anytime we're open (check the website for exact hours), or reply
to this email, or call us to chat about any of this.  We can also schedule
group events of many kinds for any group of five or more people, and
scheduling one can be a great way to experience a supervised introduction
to the sport.
