Warm Winter Rock in the South of Spain

Located on the southern tip of Spain is the world-class climbing 
destination known as El Chorro. January temperatures average around 60 
degrees with very little precipitation.  With over 700 routes in a 
spectacular gorge, there will be more than enough climbing for our 
January term adventure.  Participants should possess basic rock climbing 
skills and belay knowledge.  We will fly as a group to Malaga Spain.  We 
will then travel by train to the village of El Chorro. We will be 
staying in Casitas  that are within walking distance of the climbing. 
This is a perfect trip for beginning or expert climbers. 

Cost : Land $800 Hampshire students $1000 Smith,Mt Holyoke,Amherst $1100 UMass and community.

        Airfare     Approximately $600 to $800

Some Scholarship and Aid money is available for Hampshire financial aid 
students.

Pre trip meeting: October 20th Wednesday 6PM in RCC

Money due: November 5th Friday

Forms due: November 18th Thursday
