[Climbing] !! EPIC WEEKEND OF MAYHEM !!

Guy has alluded to the mysterious and epic Outdoor Festival that's happening this weekend. Here are some enticing details:

FRIDAY:
We have motivational words.  Trish Downing and "Redefining Able." 8 p.m. Fayerweather, Pruyne Lecture Hall Amherst College. OPRA will be taking a van of people over. http://www.trishdowning.com/

SATURDAY:
We have urban mushing. Ever picture yourself with a team of sled dogs flying down a snowy trail? Now you can get a taste of the excitement through Urban Mushing! Try this out with Colin Twitchell and Trish McCarthy as they demonstrate the art of Urban Mushing with Keesha and Nico.
SAT 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. Library Lawn, Hampshire College

We have movie watching. Telluride Mountain Film Festival. Watch epic outdoor movies and get a free burrito from Bueno y Sano. Also a raffle with prizes. SAT 7-10pm. Main Lecture Hall.

We have skiing and showshoeing. Meet at the RCC. 10-2. Gear provided.

We have ROCK CLIMBING. The student comp is from 11-2. A $5 donation to the Western Mass Climbers' Coalition gets you in the door. Great prizes. Giveaways etc.

Now for the business: 
We need volunteers to help out with the event. 

Please help:
- 3 people from 9-10am (prep stuff, move kayaks, decorate, etc)
- 3 people from 5-7pm (take down things and sell raffle tickets for the film fest)

SUNDAY:
On Sunday we will go to Dartmouth for their climbing competition. Entry fee etc will be covered by the Climbers' Coalition. We will leave from the bus circle at 10:30am and will be back for a late dinner. This is a super fun event with very very good prizes for all ability levels. Don't want to compete? -- come climb some problems, hang out, and explore their gigantic library. You'll have fun.  Email me if you want to come.
