[Climbing] Help save Farley Climbing

While the climbing season may be winding down, the WMCC is in the midst of
launching our biggest fund drive to date. The goal: purchase a 9-acre
property adjacent to Farley Ledge to be used for parking, trail access and
to preserve the remaining undeveloped land close to the cliffs.

This purchase, if successful, would permanently preserve climbing and
climbing access to Farley Ledge, arguably the best climbing resource in
southern New England. This could very well be the biggest opportunity the
WMCC will have towards protecting climbing at Farley and we need everyone¹s
help. Bottom line: We need to raise $75,000 by spring in order to
successfully purchase the land and we need your help.

We are in the process of putting together an events calendar for the
upcoming months. A PayPal account has been set up so donations can now be
accepted directly through our website (www.westernmacc.com
<http://www.westernmacc.com/> ). We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
so all donations are fully tax deductible. Donations can also be sent
directly to our office at 25 Parkview Drive, South Hadley, MA 01075.

We cannot emphasize the importance of this opportunity enough and hope we
can count on you, the climbing community, to spread the word and support
this cause.
