Hi Everyone,
There is snow and ice predicted for tonight, and there is a chance that the
college may open late or close entirely if conditions are bad enough
tomorrow, Thursday. Because the majority of our students live on campus,
we try to make an effort to be open regular or reduced hours on a day when
the college closes. That being said, would anyone be willing to be on
standby to work tomorrow if classes are canceled? I know at least one
student who is scheduled for tomorrow lives off campus and would not be
coming in if the college closes. Let me know if you are willing to come in
tomorrow. This would only be if the college closes. If there is a delayed
opening, the college (and the library) would be opening at 10, and I would
be coming in to open. If the college closes, staff will not come to
campus, and I would make arrangements for Safety to open the library for
the students who would be working. Right now we only have one student
scheduled from 9am-6pm, so we would need a second student on each shift.
Let me know if you are willing to be on standby, and during what hours
tomorrow, and then we will come up with a plan.
Thank you,
Suzanne
