[Circulation] The EAST Inventory Project Has Been Completed!

Hi All, 

This is to update you that the EAST inventory project was completed
yesterday. Of the 6,000 items on our list, 5,874 were accounted for
(meaning that they were physically on the shelf or checked out). Of the
5,874 items, 96.1% were physically on the shelf. These were really
impressive numbers for us and the project was completed quickly, in
roughly a week and a half. Each book was searched for, and the
conditions of those found on the shelf were assessed as excellent,
fair/good, or poor. I want to extend thanks to the following students
for their hard work on this project: Eder, Emma, Kenzie, Ian, Caroline,
Abbas, and Saumya from the InfoBar; Kat from Media Services, and George
from Media Services. I also want to thank Karen M. for completing Seydel
and for shelf-reading, and Rhana for completing Kael and double-checking
and updating items that students didn't find on the first pass.
