[Circulation] Clarification of Janterm Schedule, and Janterm Housing Info

Hi All, 

I'm sorry, I neglected to give you dates for Janterm. Winter break runs
from noon on Wednesday, 12/23, until Sunday, 1/3. During that time the
college is closed down and staff do not work. Janterm runs from Monday,
1/4 through Saturday, 1/16. Students living on campus are able to return
to their rooms on Sunday, 1/17. We will most likely begin the temporary
spring schedule that day. 

If you have not been keeping up with the announcements regarding end of
the year and Janterm housing here is the latest campus announcement: 

APPLICATIONS FOR JANUARY RESIDENCY DUE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 14 

Reminder: all residences will close for winter break on December 18 at
9pm. Students enrolled in five-college classes will receive information
about staying late for exams at their Hampshire email account. The late
stay application will open on Monday, November 16, and will close on
Friday, December 11 at 4pm. Students can expect to be approved to stay
until 9pm on the day of their exam. Students with self-scheduled exams
can apply to stay until December 21 at 9pm. See all these dates (and

The residences will open for the Spring semester on Sunday, January 17.
