Hello All,

FYI, the book scanner occasionally sends blank PDFs when patrons scan  
to email.  After restarting the machine it works fine.  Chris from IT  
has a work order in to see if we can make this stop happening.  In the  
meantime, if the scanner locks up or sends blank documents restart it  
using the instructions on the Libguide, found here:

Hi,

Our Book ScanCenter 5022 has, on two occasions, sent blank PDF's when  
patron's were attempting to scan to e-mail.  A system restart seems to  
resolve this problem at least temporarily.

Is there a permanent fix?  There isn't always a staff member around to  
restart the system.
