[Circulation] Patron Head Count

Hello Everyone,

As some of you know, we have started taking a Patron Head Count. This  
count is every hour from 5:30pm - 11:30pm, Sunday-Saturday. It is as  
simple as walking around the first, second and third floors to count  
the patrons. If you work between these hours, you will be expected to  
count patrons.

These results are being recorded in a blue binder under the  
desensitizer, behind the desk. There is a picture of a cartoon mouse  
carrying books on the front. Please let me know if you have any  
questions about this new procedure.

Also, please do not use headphones while at the desk. This is  
considered poor customer service and makes patrons less likely to  
approach you. Thank you.
