Dear students,
*"Non-Visible and Intangible: Artists Books Respond to E-Books" is a
series of events and a gallery exhibition on the topic of Artists Books
in the Digital Age held at the Harold F. Johnson Library at Hampshire
College in November 2012. *

The events explore how technology has affected all aspects of artists
books -- from production to creation to access and use. Some of the
works on display in the exhibit "Pulp to Pixels: Artists Books in the
Digital Age" explore interactive generative art with text and image,
some function as books in their own right but can be enhanced with
technology, and others require a smartphone or tablet to view them at all.
This project was made possible in part by a Mellon Digital Humanities
Grant from Five Colleges, Inc. and co-sponsored by the Hampshire College
Board of Trustees.
Please see http://nonvisible.wordpress.com/ for all details and a
schedule of events.
