[Circulation] Deleted Holds

I need clarification.  Last Friday, I remember deleting a hold for a UMass
professor or grad student, but I ended up finding the student that had the
hold on it and putting the hold back on the item through the five college
catalog.  Is this just more complicated?

Hello All,

I received 2 notes about deleted holds this morning.  I don't know who  
did them, but I think this was just to alert me to the fact that they  
were done.  What I did notice, however, was that the requests were  
deleted entirely instead of just on the Hampshire copy.  If you are  
deleting holds, please say yes to the first prompt, but NO to the  
prompt to delete the Title Request.  What this does is move the hold  
from the Hampshire copy to an available 5 college copy.
