Hello All,

Sorry if you tried to post to the list on the weekend. The person who did
maintenance to the mailing lists moved data around, which made the lists
unusable. Here are a few things that I posted on Friday that never reached
you:

A few reminders:

-Students may approach the circulation desk inquiring how they can be added
to a course website. Direct the patron to any of the reference librarians.
Please be aware that there is no librarian available after 5 on Fridays, no
librarians at all on Saturdays, but there is a reference librarian here on
Sundays from 1 - 4 only.

-The library will be having a book and record sale beginning on Monday (it
should be set up by 10am) . Books and records will be on display on the
shelves near the circulation desk that usually hold the Div III¹s.
Hardcovers and records cost $1, paperbacks cost $0.50. There will be a cash
box left at the desk for the sales; the student closing for the night should
lock the box in the headphone cabinet. The current Div III¹s will remain on
a cart behind the desk for the duration of the sale. Please do not shelve
them upstairs. If you have any interest in this sale, come early for the
best selection, and by all means tell your friends.

-I've made some screen prints of some common transactions. They might be
particularly useful to new workers. Please page through them and use them
as a reference if you have a brain freeze and forget how to do a name search
for a Umass patron or don't know what to do with a Lost book. I will add to
it periodically. Please give me suggestions if you would like to see screen
prints of other transactions.

-Every worker should have received a schedule verification by now. Please
let me know if you didn¹t.

Suzanne
