Hello All,
The folks at Aleph still have no idea what is causing the oddities in the
circulation system. They keep asking for information and examples.
Unfortunately one of the things we have to do is keep hourly statistics of the
error messages. There are 2 clipboards at the circ desk. The computer to the
left is named Reserve and the one to the right is Circ. The categories are
subdivided by whether the error occurred in check in or check out. Put hash
marks in each column as the errors occur. I would make them small enough to
fit two rows of hash marks in each column. We are doing this to determine if
there are any patterns to this madness, and we are unsure how long we will have
to do it. I thank you for your cooperation, and I hope to have good news soon.
