[Circulation] TIME CARDS AND REGULAR SCHEDULE

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for attending the schedule meeting last night.  The weekday
schedule that you picked started TODAY.  This weekend will be WEEKEND ONE,
so Casey, Rachel B., Steven, Sarah, Josh, Jonathan F. and Mandy will all be
working.  As I will do all semester, I will send a reminder to these folks
reminding them of the schedule for the weekend, as well as the name of the
circulation person on call and the reference librarian who will be working
on Sunday.

I made timesheets for you to sign in and out on.  They are hanging up on the
circulation bulletin board.  Sign in and out each shift, and then use the
sheet to submit your electronic timecard on the hub.  It's not a bad idea to
log into the hub and update your timecard every shift.  That way, your
timecard will always be up-to-date.  Leave the paper timesheet for me in the
folder so that I can check it against what you submitted on the hub.  This
will also be a back-up copy in case the hub is down.

The pay period ends on Saturday.  Please make sure you have submitted your
timecard by Sunday morning so that I can approve it when I work then.  Don't
forget that you will get paid for the schedule meeting (one hour).


MAKE SURE YOU FILL OUT YOUR TIMECARD.  I CANNOT SUBMIT ONE FOR YOU IF YOU
FORGET  LIKE IN THE PAST.  I CAN¹T ADD OR TAKE HOURS AWAY FROM YOUR
TIMECARD;  ALL I CAN DO IS APPROVE OR REJECT IT.    PLEASE BE CAREFUL TO
ENTER THE RIGHT HOURS.  YOU DON¹T WANT TO HAVE ME REJECT YOUR TIMECARD,
BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE TO FIX IT AND RESUBMIT IT TO ME THEN WAIT FOR ME TO
APPROVE IT AGAIN (AND THIS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE DONE BY THE DEADLINE).

I encourage you to go into your account.  Look around and make sure you
understand it in case you have questions for me.
