Welcome Back!
You are receiving this e-mail because I am expecting you to return to
work in Circulation during the Fall semester. If you've changed your
mind since I last saw you, please let me know ASAP.
Great things have happened at the library since May. The jazz CD's
were moved from behind the circulation desk out to the circulating CD
collection, and just wait until you see the 2nd floor!
Now, down to business. A condition of you being re-hired for the
fall semester is that you must sign up for 3 shifts (12 hours) on the
temporary schedule. The temporary schedule runs from Tuesday,
September 7 through Thursday, September 16. During that time, the
library will be open until 10pm. I would appreciate it if you would
fill nights and the weekend first. The shifts have already been
drawn in - please adhere to these for now and don't draw in new
shifts. Also, don't double up on shifts until every slot is full.
The library will be open from 10am - 4pm on Labor Day. Neither Chris
nor I will be working that day, but feel free to put yourself on the
schedule if you are around. Remember, once you put your name on a
shift, you are committed to working that shift! I'm going to leave a
contact list on the bulletin board for you to leave me your phone
number in case it's changed since May.
The mandatory schedule meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 16.
I'm trying to hold the meeting at 5:30p.m. If you think this will
conflict with one of your classes, talk to me soon. I want to be
able to accomodate as many people as possible.
I look forward to seeing you!
Suzanne
