Hello All,

Here are some reminders and observations:

1. Please give books that are on hold for HC Reserves to Bev as soon
as you check them in. That way she can process them right away and
make them available for student use.

2. Be careful with returned books! Both Chris and I have noticed
returned reserve items on the return carts and not on the reserve
shelves where they belong. I've also noticed returned books on the
wrong shelving carts. Pay attention so that the books end up on the
right range carts.

3. Please sensitize batches of CD's before you shelve them. While
they should have been sensitized at check-in, doing so a second time
will insure that they are indeed sensitized.

4. If you feel the desire to leave a shift early for a meeting or
other commitment, you must get permission from one of your
supervisors. Double coverage at the desk does make it okay to leave,
even if the other person on the shift tells you they don't mind. You
are expected to work the entire shift that you are scheduled for,
unless you get permission from me, Chris, Susan, or Bev.

That's it for now. I will post again as issues come up.

Suzanne
