  Blades of this style are usually blanked out to their final profile if they
are a high production blade this is done on punch press of CNC milling
machines,a custom blademaker would do the shaping with a bandsaw using material
of the final blade thickness. The beveling would then be ground in using finer
grits of abrasive.
