Good morning, All!

Attached is the flyer for the October 23rd. Please share it with your students, family, co-workers and friends! It is about people with different identities that many people in the public mainstream do not really think of but are encouraged to have a different and broader perspective of them. You could say it is about social justice.

There are three panelists and one of them is Deaf. His name is Carlisle Robinson and he was recently featured in one of the Convo commercials called BeYOUtiful. There will be multimedia like photographs, comic strips, films, etc. as well as displaying one of the panelists' jewelry work.

Encourage them to come! It is free! There will be munchies at the end! I would strongly encourage you all to come and support this event. I am proud to say that I started this idea and there is a committee, including myself, that helped make this event happen. You can offer an extra credit for your students to attend. I plan on doing that for my students.

Dana, share the flyer to your students at the other colleges, especially Hampshire. It is a lot about social justice and they would love to come to this awesome event! Perhaps, a bus can be provided by Hampshire. Check with Ruth.
