Subject: "Through Deaf Eyes" on PBS!

Hi everyone,

It's finally time to see the new documentary film, "Through Deaf Eyes"! It
will be on most PBS TV stations on Wednesday, March 21 at 9-11pm. Check
your local TV listings to make sure of the time on your PBS channel.

If you've come to the Haymarket meetup you might have met Diane. She and
her husband's production company, Florentine Films, made this important
documentary. They've made films for PBS before and have won awards and
accolades for their work. If you want to learn more about Florentine Films
or read a blurb about the film, their web site is www.florentinefilms.org
<http://www.florentinefilms.org/> "Through Deaf Eyes" includes 6 short
films by creative Deaf film makers as well as interviews with both famous
and ordinary Deaf/deaf people. There's more information about it at
http://www.pbs.org/previews/throughdeafeyes/ , where you can get a glimpse
of the 200 years of history, culture and controversy that will be covered.

Everyone should see this documentary! If you have friends or family who
know nothing about deafness, Deaf Culture, or ASL, you should tell them
about this film. And it's free on all of our TVs! Mark your calendars and
spread the word!

Enjoy!
Lorraine
