This is to remind you of several interpreted and/or ASL-friendly events
coming up soon at Holyoke Community College:

* Wed. March 29, 11 am to noon, Forum -- Holocaust survivor Anita Schoor and
poet Stephen Herz.  Of the 15,000 children sent to Theresienstadt between
1941 and 1945, 100 survived.  Anita is one of those 100 survivors.  Now in
her early 70s, Anita is an exuberant and dynamic speaker, committed to
telling her story and doing her part to promote tolerance, compassion, and
peace.  She will be accompanied by poet Stephen Herz, reading from his
collection of Holocaust poetry, "Whatever You Can Carry".

* Friday, March 31, Cafeteria.  Silent Pizza Night (5:30 pm)  and
presentation by Cat Brenn-Bear on "The Disability Law Center and You: Learn
Your Rights" (6:15 to 8:15 pm), presented in ASL.

* Monday, April 3, 9 am, Frost 309 -- Chris Hedges, Journalist, Classical
Scholar, Professor.  (Part of the "Stories of War and Return Series")  Will
speak on "War is a Force That Gives Us Meaning."

* Wed, April 12, 11 am, Frost 265.  Charles Berkowitz and his documentary
film "Achilles in Vietnam".   This is part of the "Stories of War and
Return" series.
