America have many parallels. Joining these communities together can bring
support and a greater understanding of what it means to be in America. Come
learn more about the Somali community at these dialogues designed to open
communication between the Somali community and the residents of
Holyoke.<BR><BR>FEATURING • YASMIN AHMED from Walaalo Collective will talk
about experiences of the Somali community • ROXANNE LAWSON, Africa Policy
Director for TransAfrica Forum will talk about: Current affairs in the horn of
Africa; U.S. Foreign Policy; the role of TransAfrica Forum; and how people can
get involved. There will be POETRY and MUSIC from members of Walaalo!
