<DIV><BR></DIV>Dear Listener to Tertulia,<BR><BR>Thank you for contacting WFCR
with your concerns about the program "Tertulia."<SPAN> </SPAN>We always
welcome listener comments, and appreciate hearing your thoughts.<BR>
<P class=MsoNormal>I am writing to let you know about some new developments:
“Tertulia” will continue to be broadcast on Sunday nights from <ST1:TIME
hour="8" minute="0">8:00</ST1:TIME> to <ST1:TIME hour="10"
minute="0">10:00</ST1:TIME>. We recognize that “Tertulia” has served the
Latino community well for many years, and we are pleased to be able to allocate
some resources to keep it on the air.<SPAN> </SPAN><SPAN> </SPAN>It
will continue to be the mix of music, talk and pre-produced features you have
come to know.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>The first hour of “Tertulia” has always been the most
popular, with the majority of listeners tuning in between <ST1:TIME hour="8"
minute="0">8:00</ST1:TIME> and <ST1:TIME hour="22" minute="0">10:00
PM</ST1:TIME>, so the new schedule for “Tertulia” will keep it on the air during
its own “prime time.”</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>In addition, WFCR will be taking two other steps to increase
its service to the Latino community.<SPAN> </SPAN>First, we will add a
bilingual reporter to our News Department.<SPAN> </SPAN>He or she will be
based in <ST1:CITY><ST1:PLACE>Springfield</ST1:PLACE></ST1:CITY> and cover
stories throughout the region, but will also be assigned to focus special
attention on the Latino community.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Also, we will be adding a new program, “Epicentro Político,”
at <ST1:TIME hour="10" minute="0">10:00</ST1:TIME> on Sunday nights.<SPAN>
</SPAN>Its producers describe it as “<SPAN class=style3>a groundbreaking
national Spanish-language radio program focusing on news analysis and political
debate [featuring] interviews with Latino members of Congress, roundtable
discussions with prominent journalists and commentators, on-location reports
from correspondents based in major </SPAN><ST1:COUNTRY-REGION><ST1:PLACE><SPAN

cities, and in-depth conversations with Latino writers, actors, and
musicians.”<SPAN> </SPAN>You can learn more about “Epicentro Politico” at

you know about all of this before we inform the general public and the press.
