<div>Greetings everyone -</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>We had a great meeting this past Sunday hope you can join us at
the next meeting. </div>
<div><br></div>
<div>Sunday, Oct 30th</div>
<div>12-4pm</div>
<div>Center for Contemplative Mind in Society</div>
<div>199 Main St. 3rd Floor, Northampton</div>
<div>( a couple of doors down from Haymarket Cafe - and across from
City Hall)</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>In the last meeting we made progress conceptualizing the what and
the how of the Anti-racism Leadership Institute<font face="Times"
color="#000000"> </font> (one major focus will be training on
whiteness and white privilege analysis as we have stated in previous
e-mails). We also discussed how to support the Junebug residency
hosted by New Word Theater in December by helping to organize Story
Circles in the community. Junebug Productions is an activist
theater from New Orleans. www.newworldtheater.org</div>
<div><br></div>
<div>The group decided to step back from the network idea and to
embrace a coalition that will connect organizations and welcome
individuals in the coalition. This plan is up for further
discussion.</div>

<div>Soulfighter ( Maurice Taylor) talked about recently attending the
Commemoration of the MAAFA at St. Paul Community Baptist Church in
Brooklyn, NY. He suggested that people attend the upcoming
Commemoration of the MAAFA in Ct. on November 4th and 5th.
Maurice will be looking into details for the group and several members
said they will carpool to the event. We'll provide more
information about attending the event and carpooling. </div>
