Robert Romer will discuss his book, Slavery in the Connecticut Valley of
Massachusetts, as well as what he has learned about Mass. House Bill HR3148
that would require corporations doing business in Massachusetts to research
their company's or its predecessors' involvement with the slave trade or
profits made from slave labor.
