[Antiracism] TODAY!!! Through A Different Lens: GE Lunch Series

TODAY TODAY TODAY!!

Today will begin GE's Lunch Series, "Through A Different Lens" where  
we invite speakers to come present a short lecture and discussion  
during Friday lunches.

TODAY, a representative from the group, Justice for Jason ( http:// 
www.justiceforjason.org/ ) will be coming to speak. This group has  
been organizing and rallying to bring justice to a hate crime that  
occured at UMass last February. Jason Vassell, a student,  faces two  
felony charges that could result in 30 years in prison for responding  
in self defense to racial invectives and threats of violence.

Please come and learn more about this opportunity to talk about our  
role in this situation and what we can do from here to end hate crimes.
