From: Ron Patenaude
UAW Local 2322 members of the YWCA of Western Massachusetts and their
supporters will conduct informational leafleting at the YWCA's 140th
Anniversary Celebration being held at Symphony Hall, Court Square at
Columbus Avenue, Springfield, Saturday June 28, at 7pm.
Please join us!
This is being done to inform the public on the status of contract
negotiations in which YWCA management has offered zero wage increases
claiming they are unable to afford raises even though an audit conducted by
the UAW has shown they have approximately a $300,000 "surplus" so far this
fiscal year.
Please contact me for more information.
