[Antiracism] Iraq Moratorium, noon Friday in Amherst

I hereby make a commitment that on the Third Friday of each and every month,
I will break my daily routine and take some action, by myself or with
others, to end the War in Iraq.

Iraq Moratorium  http://www.iraqmoratorium.org/  and SAGE are calling for
local actions in Amherst, on the third Friday of every month until the
invasion is ended. This Friday, January 18th, we will meet on the Amherst
Common at noon for a vigil.  We will provide black armbands and are working
on a banner.  This action is in solidarity with actions in other Western
Mass locations and throughout the United States.

 

Let me know if you would like to help with the banner. We welcome your ideas
for creative, peaceful actions.  

 

Please stay posted for details of the next Iraq Moratorium event, on the
third Friday in February.  Please check out the Iraq Moratorium Site-this is
a local event but is connected to a growing national effort.
