[Antiracism] Deepa Fernandes at Food for Thought Books Oct. 4

Deepa Fernandes — host of New York’s WBAI Wakeup Call and former host of Pacifica’s Free Speech Radio News 
- will reading & discussing on Thursday, Oct. 04th @ 7pm at Food for Thought Books
from her book TARGETED, which documents the new American immigrant experience, 
marked by racist profiling, criminalization, detention and deportation. 
She argues that since 9/11, the Bush administration’s policies are creating a growing 
“immigration industrial complex” that directly benefits corporate elites.
