Hurt on the Job: A Guide to the Massachusetts Workers Compensation System 
  
 is now available from the Western Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational
Safety and Health. The book tells workers what to expect from the system
when they are hurt on the job. It includes quotes and anecdotes from injured
workers who have been through the system. Topics covered include
surveillance, lump-sum settlements, medical care, and living with a
long-term disability. This is a comprehensive guide to the state system, and
it also includes a section on federal workers compensation.
 
The cost of the book is $15 (or $12 for orders of 100 books or more). There
is a $2 charge per book for shipping and handling (only $25 on orders of 100
