This event is free and open to the general public.

Donations to support the people of Burma will be gratefully accepted.



Michele McDonald has taught insight meditation around the world for  
26 years. For the last 12 years, she has taught yearly retreats in  
northern Burma and has deep ties with the Burmese people and monastic  
community. The program will begin with a short meditation. Michele  
will speak on the current situation in Burma and present slides of  
life there.  She is also a co-founder of the Vipassana Hawai'i.  
Sangha in Honolulu.
