USSF Reportback
& Next Steps for the
Social Forum Movement
in Western MA

Monday, October 22nd, 6:30pm
at Food for Thought Books
106 N. Pleasant St. Amherst, MA

As you may know, the Western MA Social Forum (WMSF) and the UMass Graduate Student Organization (GSO) worked together to sponsor vans that took over 60 people from Western MA down to Atlanta this summer for the first ever United States Social Forum.

Come to this event to hear a Reportback from our caravans and some of the other organizers and activists working in Western MA who were also present at this summer's U.S. Social Forum.

Please get in touch with Maya at 917-833-1950 or Doug at 413-584-8975 to sign-up in advance to give a reportback for this event.

Next Steps will include a discussion of regular meetings for folks who want to build the social forum movement in Western MA. We will discuss activities for the week of action that will culminate in a Global Day of Mobilisation and Action on January 26, 2008. If your organization is already planning for this action, please come to gather support.
