We the following individuals and organizations endorse
and pledge our solidarity with the June 2 Rainbow
Solidarity for the Cuban Five event at the NYC LGBT
Community Center from 1-3 pm.

In this climate of increased racism and immigrant
bashing, LGBT violence and bigotry, state repression
and war, it is of the utmost importance to demonstrate
our support for the Cuban 5. These brave young
men--Fernando González, Ramón Labañino, Antonio
Guerrero, Gerardo Hernández and René
González--courageously tried to stop CIA-backed terror
attacks on Cuba from U.S. soil, only to be arrested
and held as U.S. political prisoners.
The June 2 forum will mark the first-ever solidarity
event for Cuban 5 at the LGBT center. Invited to speak
at this historic event are representatives from the
Cuban Mission to the United Nations. More than 1,000
lesbian, gay, bi, trans (LGBT) and other activists
fighting oppression based on sex, gender and sexuality
have already signed on to the call for Rainbow
Solidarity for the Cuban Five.
We call on activists striving for social justice and
liberation to join on to this call to action and do
all that you can to build the June 2 Rainbow
Solidarity for the Cuban Five event. To add your name
or organization as an endorser of the event, please
