JOB POSTING
TITLE: DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE Part Time, NON-EXEMPT
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for administrative and clerical functions
supporting the Development Department activities
JOB COMPONENTS
To include:
Perform daily administrative tasks of the development team which include, but
are not limited to maintaining the schedule of development department meetings
and appointments, including logistics and preparation of materials
Collect and organize monthly reports on all Development activities, including
direct mail, special events, grants, communications, etc.
Assist with maintaining central development files, including the files on
active and prospective individuals, corporations, foundations and board members
Conduct tours and maintain tour schedule
Occasional supervision of volunteers supporting Development projects
Provide direct support for special events including but not limited to Gala
events, donor cultivation events, and receptions
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Development or the
Executive Director
JOB SPECIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Proven record of punctuality and good attendance
Excellent written and verbal skills
Experience in clerical and administrative tasks including reception, phones,
filing
Computer skills in MSWord, Excel and Outlook
Computer skills in Windows Operating System
Organizational skills
Customer service skills
Valid Drivers License and reliable vehicle
Ability to work on a team and with people from a variety of backgrounds
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
JOB PREFERENCES
Experience with donor databases
REPORT TO: Director of Development
RATE: $11.85/hour
