Jim Polito, the chief investigative reporter at WGGB-TV abc40, was fired
from his job late Thursday by John J. Gormally Jr. (733-4040,
mailto:jgormally at wggb.com, fax: 781-1363), who bought the station in
November from Sinclair Broadcasting. 

Next step for workers' rights advocates: boycotting Channel 40 and possibly
its advertisers ... ?  Stay tuned.
