[Antiracism] Volunteers to Fast for May 1st

Dear Friends,


As you may know from pervious postings, there will be a National Day  
of Action on his coming Tuesday, May 1st, all across the nation.   
Here in the Valley there will be a vigil, rally and walk from Amherst  
to Northampton Starting at Noon on the Amherst Common as well as  
actions in Springfield.  I have  included more information below.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR MORE VOLUNTEERS WHO WILL FAST FOR THE DAY AT GRACE  
CHURCH IN AMHERST AND AT ST. MARY'S CHURCH IN NORTHAMPTON.

NATIONAL DAY OF ACTION
	STOP THE RAIDS AND DEPORTATIONS! NO HUMAN BEING IS ILLEGAL! NO GUEST
WORKERS PROGRAM!
	REUNIFICATION OF FAMILIES! AMNESTY NOW!
	US government raided a New Bedford garment factory and seized 350
immigrant workers and destroyed hard working families. We need to  
stand up
for the rights of all workers, or Divide-&-Conquer will drive  
everyone into
poverty.
	Noon-2pm: VIGIL, RALLY & WALK: Amherst Town Common. Walk from
Amherst to Northampton, 2–4pm. WITH FEEDER MARCHES FROM LOCAL COLLEGES &
UMASS-AMHERST
