TEXT OF PETITION:

To:  Immigration officials of Imams Hafiz Masood and Abdul Hannan

The Muslim community in Boston is deeply concerned and outraged due to the 
recent arrests of Imam Hafiz Masood and Imam Abdul Hannan on alleged 
administrative violations of immigration policies.

Imam Hafiz Masood has been a long-standing leader and Imam of the Islamic 
Center of New England (ICNE), based in Sharon , MA. Imam Abdul Hannan from 
the Islamic Society of Greater Lowell has also served the Muslim community 
in Lowell as Imam for several years. They have always been voices of peace 
and wisdom and remain vital leaders for their respective communities.

We, the undersigned, affirm our support for Imams Hafiz Masood and Abdul 
Hannan. We hope that immigration officials will be sensitive to their 
leadership positions in their communities. We are deeply concerned in the 
way these cases have been handled to date and request that immediate action 
be taken to bring a fair and speedy resolution to this issue.

The collected information will not be publically viewable on this website 
but will be utilized in the cases in support of Imams Hafiz Masood and Abdul 
Hannan.
