[Antiracism] Conscious Communication classes

Dear Learner:



I want to let you know about an upcoming communication class being held in
Brattleboro this Winter/Spring, "Staying Connected in Conflict: Conscious
Communication Skills."  The Conscious Communication Institute was started by
Sandra Boston in 2000, after teaching classes for almost thirty years. It
includes the work of Marshall Rosenberg, Thomas Gordon, Gandhi, and others
in the field of conflict resolution.



For some, this class gives us the first in-depth practice of the skills for
conflict resolution.  For others, it rejuvenates our commitment to conscious
communication and lets us hone our skills with others. Some of us have taken
this class many times! The series will be held on six consecutive evenings
and is divided so that a participant may sign up for all or some of the
individual sessions.  I am hoping for around ten participants who want to
invest in this work at this time. The dates and times are on the enclosed
flyer.

July 3rd:  I messages

July 10th:  Problem Solving

July 17th:  Managing Values' Differences

July 24th:  Sharing Power



*Sliding fee scale, $25 - $40 per session.  *

Fees can be charged for individual classes or for the whole series.

A rich textbook is offered for those enrolling in all six sessions.
