Dear friends,

Girls Inc. of Holyoke is looking for women interested in improving the lives
of a Holyoke girls by becoming mentors.

What do mentors do?
Mentors are adult women (18yrs and above) who make a difference in the lives
of girls in grades 6-12. Mentors can be college students, professionals,
retired women, or homemakers.

Whay mentor a Holyoke girl?

All us of us working for equality and justice in the Pioneer Valley know
Holyoke youth need our support to overcome problems that result from racism,
poverty, high pregnacy, and drop out rates. Raising the conciousness of a
Holyoke girl is the best way to walk our talk...mentors offer
encouragement, support, and friendship. If you have the energy to change the
world around you...pass it on.
