Greetings Friends,
The following are four initiatives planed to remember the US bombings of
Hiroshima and Nagasaki and to work for a nuclear-free world.
The first two are community walks, one in Vermont and one in Western
Massachusetts. The second two are programs/events, one on August 5 in
Springfield, one on August 6 in Northampton.
There very well may be other efforts in the works -- these represent what I
am aware of at this time.
Please note that, thanks to Joan G. and the good folks of St. Mary's Church
in Northampton, there will be a community potluck supper on August 6 at
5:30 to host the Pagoda walkers. More information about that coming soon.
Peace,
Jo

Our goal is to bring forth a beautiful flower, namely the total
elimination of all nuclear weapons from the face of the earth by the year

planet. Hiroshima Mayor Tadatoshi Akiba
