Freedom Center Law and Psychiatry Series
January 31, 5 - 7 PM, Florence Civic Center

Those involved in the psychiatric system have had their legal rights
violated and their basic human rights routinely abused. We have
experienced and witnessed illegal restraints and seclusions, we've
been medicated without informed consent, we've been committed when we
were neither a danger to self or others, or for no other reason than
refusing to comply with a treatment plan.

The Freedom Center is pleased to announce the 1st session of the
long-awaited Law and Psychiatry training series with Nancy Svirida,
Esq., of the Disability Law Center (DLC). The issue of Forced
Medication
will be addressed in an in-depth lecture and Q&A period on the topics
of
Informed Consent, Rogers Orders, and Health Care Proxies.

Tuesday January 31

5:30-7p lecture and Q&A

The Florence Civic Center
