3-6 Month Paid Apprenticeship


Housing, travel reimbursement and car allowance also included in addition to
salary.


 

The Service Employees International Union (SEIU) is the largest and fastest
growing labor union in the country with 1.8 million members, diverse in
membership and leadership and progressive in politics.

.          Intern organizers will work on an exciting organizing campaign in
Massachusetts.

.          Internships may lead to full-time organizer positions. 

 

Job Qualifications for Union Organizing:

 

*	Excellent communication skills, especially good listening skills. 

*	Ability to build rapport and move people to overcome fear and take
action;  

*	Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures; 

*	Ability to work well in a team but also to self motivate and work
independently; 

*	Ability to travel within Massachusetts . 

*	Valid drivers license; 

*	Stamina and willingness to work long & irregular hours;  

*	Commitment to justice for working people
