As a follow-up to the Dismantling Racism in the Valley Organizing Summit
last April, 11 people met in Springfield at Latin Flava on Thursday, August
25th. The discussion mainly focused on a proposal by Enoch Page offered as a
possible direction for the future.There was also some brief discussion about
logistics and who will take responsibility for certain administrative tasks
in the future.

We realize that this very short notice, but in the spirit of keeping the
dialogue moving, the next meeting will be held on Saturday, September 3,
from 9-1. Please join us if you would like to be part of the beginning
discussion around the group's mission, structure, future orientation and
more information. The meeting will be held at 4 Breaburn Rd. South
