- FIGHT THE 'BIG LIE' WITH THE TRUTH

 

"Israel is an Apartheid State".  "Israeli practices... are equal with, if not more brutal than, those practiced by occupying Nazi soldiers during the Second World War." These are some of the demonizing 'Big Lies' that have penetrated University and College campuses across North America where Jewish students are under attack for their support of the Jewish State.    





At the University of California, Irvine, the Wiesenthal Center protested the Muslim Student Union's 'blood-smeared' Israeli flag and so-called apartheid wall, (photo below).



In the UK, thousands joined our campaign demanding the rescinding of a vote by the University and College Union to boycott all Israeli academics and institutions.

And, when Former President Jimmy Carter brought his anti-Israel campaign to the University of California, Berkeley last month, our Campus Advocates, the Wiesenthal Center's student activists, distributed copies of our new brochure (photo below),Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid -- Major Fabrications and Distortions (http://www.wiesenthal.com/atf/cf/%7BDFD2AAC1-2ADE-428A-9263-35234229D8D8%7D/CAMPUS_OUTREACH_BROCHURE_FINAL.PDF)



But that is not enough.  We must stand with our Jewish students on campus and give them the tools to continue to fight back against the lies -- with the truth.
