Excaliburites, right hands to the king! Or something!

This Saturday at 8pm in the East Lecture Hall of FPH we shall meet once more to
watch things together like a big family.

To start things off we will watch The Animatrix, that collection of animated,
matrix inspired shorts that happened between The Matrix and Matrix Reloaded.
Before the series self destructed in a swirl of strange plot twists and DBZ
style aerial battles.

We are mostly watching it because it is nice and short, as we must screen two
episodes of Carnivale! At around 9:30 (NINE THIRTY for those of you who want to
skip the movie and just come to see what Carnivale is all about) we will begin
screening the first two episodes of Carnivale.

Carnivale was a show on HBO awhile back that takes place in the Dust Bowl during
the Great Depression. It follows Ben Hawkins, who is forced to take refuge with
a traveling carnival, filled with the kinds of characters you would expect in a
depression era carnival. I don't want to ruin things for all of you, but
needless to say, not everything is as it seems.

Well, I will mention that this freak show isn't filled with fakes, and that a
preacher is witness to strange visions...

Come and see! Also come and tell us what you think, if none of you like it after
the first two episodes, we will have to talk about a series change. Although how
anyone could dislike such a gripping show is beyond me. And I am beyond space
and time, so that counts for something.

P.S. I am currently sick as a dog, but have posters to be put up. Is anyone
reading this really bored and want to poster? Let me know!
